Did you ever find yourself reading a book about self care and it wasn't resonating with you? These are tools that are supposed to be helpful and supposed to encourage self-care but there was nothing that inspired you enough to begin your own self-care journey. That's because self-care is an individual experience based on what works for you. Your self-care and what your needs are can also change on certain days.
It is important to take the time to see what works for you as a start and to build and adapt your self-care to show up for yourself in ways that you need. I am here to help you explore and see the many ways that self-care shows up so that you are able to create your plan.

Sunlight is essential for human health and well-being. The health benefits of sunlight include generating the production of vitamin D, supporting bone health, lowering blood pressure, preventing disease, and promoting good mental health.
*Although melanin gives us greater protection from sun damage, regardless of skin tone-you should wear sunscreen regularly before going outside into the sun. Sunscreen won't prevent you from getting enough sunlight to make vitamin D.
